Ottawa Police have confirmed the identity of one of the deceased on Cambridge Street South as Andrew Ferguson, 33.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday following what Ottawa Police have called the "suspicious deaths" of a man and woman at a Cambridge Street South home on Saturday afternoon.
The identification of the deceased woman is not expected until after the autopsy.
The force's major crimes unit is currently investigating, police said in a release, adding they will not provide any more information "due to the complexities of the scene."
Police say the bodies were found at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, after police received a 911 call.
Media reports indicated that a student living in the area "habitually heard screaming matches inside the house."
