Centretown home invasion suspects sought

The Ottawa Police Service is searching for two men after a home invasion in Centretown last week.

The suspects forced their way into the victim's home in the 400 block of Somerset Street West on March 31, police say, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a laptop computer.

Police describe the first suspect as a French-speaking male in his late 20s or early 30s, six-foot-one with a stocky build, dark hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a black leather coat and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a French-speaking male in his 20s, five-foot-10 with a slim build. He was wearing a light colored jacket with a white and black plaid hooded sweater.

Anyone with information should contact Det. Randy Wagner at 613-236-1222, ext. 5440 or phone Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS).
