In a matter of weeks, cyclists will have a new route through downtown, a new north-south route down Lyon Street.
The project follows the city’s policy of including new cycling infrastructure in all-new road projects or refurbishments.
Somerset Ward Coun. Diane Holmes said the new project will appear between Catherine and Queen streets.
Cyclists heading south of Catherine Street will have to link up with the Percy Street bike lane.
