Lyon Street was closed, mid-day Monday, between Gladstone Avenue and Flora Street due to a water main break, according to police.
As of Monday afternoon, the problem was still being fixed. Police said the road closure could last for the next five to six hours.
In the meantime, they are asking people to avoid the area and find other routes if possible.
