Somerset Street W., was reopened Monday night after being closed due to a fire, police said.
Police said the street was shut down so fire trucks could make their way through to the isolated area where the fire occurred, but that the incident was minor and not of a suspicious nature.
The Ottawa Sun reported earlier there were no immediate injury reports after the fire broke out at around 3:15 p.m. near Bronson Avenue and Percy Street.
