Centretown skaters can get back on the ice after the NCC re-opened the entire length of the Rideau Canal Monday afternoon.
It was originally closed Monday morning in anticipation of the heavy snowfall.
However the weather wasn’t as bad as was expected and the ice has been deemed safe for skaters.
Snow removal and maintenance are underway.
