Centretown’s Centennial Public School will offer full-day kindergarten in 2012, according to an announcement made by the provincial government Wednesday.
It's one of 43 schools in the city that will add full-day kindergarten programs in September 2012. More than 25 Ottawa schools already offer full-day kindergarten and 11 more will begin in September 2011.
A total of 900 schools across the province will add full-day kindergarten for the 2012-13 school year.
Full-day kindergarten was first offered in fall 2010.
