More than 6,300 voters cast ballots in Ottawa Centre in advance polls for Thursday’s provincial election, giving the riding the second highest advance voter turnout in Ottawa, according to Elections Ontario.
As of Oct. 1, Ottawa South, Premier Dalton McGuinty’s riding, had the biggest advance turnout at just more than 6,400 voters.
The other Ottawa ridings of Orleans, Nepean and Vanier had advance turnout ranging between 5,000 and 6,000.
Regular polls are open today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
