Police have charged a suspect in connection to a robbery that occurred earlier this week.
According to a police press release, Ernie Alvin Schuhknecht, 34, is facing charges of robbery, wearing a disguise, and three counts of breach of probation.
The robbery took place Oct. 5 at a Subway restaurant on Bronson Avenue.
Schuhknecht also made the news this August when he filed a lawsuit against Ottawa police, saying they abused him while taking him into custody in July 2009.
