One man was sent to hospital after a two-car collision on Elgin Street near Slater Street last night, said Ottawa Police.
Fire crews were called to the scene and had to use a “Jaws of Life” device to remove the man, said media relations officer Const. Henri Lancôt. They successfully pried the man out of a vehicle at approximately 11:30 p.m Jan. 11.
Police have charged one driver with novice driving.
