Ottawa’s LRT project has survived the latest round of provincial budget cuts.
Ontario Finance Minister Dwight Duncan tabled the Ontario budget March 27.
In the past, municipalities have depended on the provincial government to pay for a third of large infrastructure projects like the LRT that will pass through Centretown.
However, the province’s future commitment to municipal construction works is unclear.
