Parliament Hill is abuzz with activity every summer morning. Tourists gather around the east lawn of Parliament Hill to watch the Ceremonial Guard perform the Changing of the Guard ceremony. The ceremony fills the Hill with music as the Ceremonial Guard performs drills and is inspected for duty.
Last week, a foot guard fell and was injured by his bayonet as the Guard marched off of Parliament Hill (read the story here). Regardless, the Ceremonial Guard will continue to perform the ceremony. Watch the video to learn more about the Ottawa summer tradition.
