A police officer officer fired at an accelerating vehicle late Saturday night, just before midnight.
Police say the dark four-door Mercedes sped towards the officer who then discharged the firearm. The vehicle then fled the Rochester Street and Gladstone Avenue area where the incident occurred.
There were no injuries.
Police did not explain why the officers were on the scene, only that they were “involved in an incident.”
