Man arrested in connection with Centretown stabbing

Ottawa Police have arrested a man in his 30s in relation to a stabbing that occurred in a Centretown rooming house Friday morning.

A man in his 40s received two minor stab wounds in the abdomen, police say, and is now in stable condition.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. in a house on James St. between Kent and Lyon streets, police say.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
