Two men were injured after a head-on collision between a jeep and a bicycle on Wellington Street, between Bank and O’Connor streets.
The 23-year-old cyclist was treated for leg injuries. Paramedics said he was not wearing a helmet and was fortunate to not have sustained a head injury.
The 33-year-old driver, a diabetic, suffered an acute episode of low blood sugar.
Both were in stable condition upon reaching the hospital.
Police are investigating.
