Ottawa police issued an arrest warrant on Tuesday for a man suspected of robbing three convenience stores in one night, including at least one in Centretown.
On Monday, Sept. 23, a man allegedly entered a convenience store on Wellington Street West, flashed a knife at the clerk, and stole cash from the register, according to a police press release.
Police said the man then robbed a store on Bank Street in a similar fashion.
A third robbery happened shortly after at a store on Laurier Avenue West in Centretown, although no knife was seen at this location, according to the press release.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Chadd Brownrigg, 39, on multiple charges, including three counts of robbery. He is described as a Caucasian male with brown eyes and hair. He stands 6-4 and weighs 240 pounds.
