Police seek Little Italy bank robbery suspect


Ottawa police are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a Nov. 21 bank robbery.

The incident happened at the Bank of Nova Scotia branch near Preston and Norman streets. 



The man entered the bank just after 11:00 a.m. and showed staff a note demanding cash, police said. He left in a nearby grey SUV with a female passenger, police said. 

No weapons were visible during the robbery, police said.


Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man in his mid-30’s with a tan or dark complexion. Police say the female passenger is a Caucasian woman with a similar complexion in her mid-20’s and with shoulder-length black hair, according to a police press release.
