I read this story with some surprise.
The story quotes Scott Goldstein of Hillel as saying, that . . . there’s only one other Conservative synagogue in town, Agudath Israel.”
I’m surprised because I am a member of the third Conservative synagogue in Ottawa, Congregation Adath Shalom.
We are a long established
Conservative egalitarian synagogue that meets in the chapel of the Ottawa Jewish Community School.
Furthermore, we welcome students and offer students complimentary membership.
