There will be off-peak lane reductions on the Queensway between Rochester Street and Parkdale Avenue beginning today and continuing until next Sunday.
The lanes will be reduced in both directions of the highway.
Signage will be put in place to advise drivers of the traffic and road changes. The city is reminding motorists to respect reduced speed limits and use caution when travelling through construction zones.
Some elements of the construction are weather dependant and could be implemented later than expected, according to a city press release.
