The National Capital Commission is requesting proposals for the redevelopment of sections of LeBreton Flats.
The 9.3-hectare section up for redevelopment is located south of the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway and west of Booth Street. The NCC is considering making another 12.3 hectares to the west available, according to its website.
The commission’s CEO Mark Kristmanson and Chair Russ Mills were present for a briefing held this morning, according to the Ottawa Citizen. Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird was also present.
The deadline for proposals is Dec. 5 with a list expected to be finalized by February 2015.
