The schedule for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada was announced Saturday morning, detailing the matches Ottawa fans can hope to see live.
A handful of games will be played at Ottawa’s Lansdowne Stadium, including preliminary-round matches for teams from Group B – Germany, Ivory Coast, Norway and Thailand, with doubleheaders on June 7 and 11.
Group E and F matches will also be played in Ottawa on June 17, round-of-16 knockout games on June 20 and 22 and a quarterfinal on June 26.
Team Canada will play its first two preliminary-round games in Edmonton and third in Montreal.
The schedule includes 52 matches starting June 6 in Ottawa, Edmonton, Montreal, Winnipeg, Moncton and Vancouver, which will play host to the final on July 5.
