Arrest warrant issued for bank robbery suspect

Ottawa police issued an arrest warrant on Tuesday for a suspect charged with two bank robberies in November.

The first robbery occurred on Nov. 5 in the 400 block of Rideau St. The suspect produced a note demanding cash and indicating he had a gun, although it wasn’t seen by anyone, says the report. 

The second robbery took place on Nov. 29, in the 6400 block of Jeanne D’Arc Boulevard North, where the suspect produced a similar note demanding cash. 

In both occasions the suspect fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash and no one was injured.

The arrest warrant was issued for Kirvens Lamarre, 19. He was charged with two charges of robbery and wearing a disguise. The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet, 170 pounds, with an athletic build, black eyes and black hair.
