Sparks St. store feels left out
The shop which has been the centre and circumference of the proposed plaza is Canada’s Four Corners. This store, part of Sparks Street since 1968, had the most to lose, actually, everything to lose. This has been expressed in the Ottawa Citizen more than once.
Axe useless youth cabinet
The Ottawa Youth Cabinet, an advisory committee to the city’s health, recreation and social services standing committee and city council, has done little in the last year – or any year for that matter – to merit its presence in City Hall or earn whatever funding it receives . . .
