Weather network predicts snowfall into Thursday

Even more wild weather is predicted for Ottawa, possibly lasting until Thursday.

Ten to 15 centimeters of snow are expected to fall Wednesday afternoon and evening, according to an alert from Environment Canada.

The “significant snowfall” is part of a storm developing over the American east coast and moving north and east.

An additional 5 cm is forecasted for Thursday and some areas could get up to 25 cm of snowfall in the next 36-hour period.
