Every Sunday, Hog’s Back Park becomes a battlefield as a group of like-minded people fight it out in medieval outfits and armour.

It’s called live-action role playing (LARP), a hobby and a community for many people who immerse themselves in medieval fantasy by playing games and practicing their swordsmanship.

The role players at Hog’s Back Park are a members of the Duchy of Felfrost, one of the local LARP-ing communities and members of Amtgard, an international group that has set the standard for LARP clubs around the world.
